El domingo se celebró la XXXIII edición del Campeonato de Karate-do que organiza el CLUB DEPORTIVO ECI, en las modalidades de Katas y Kumite (combate). Este año participaron Clubs de Jerez, San Fernando, San José Del Valle, Prado del Rey y El Puerto. Los cerca de 200 deportistas se dividieron en las diferentes categorías, desde promoción (4-5 años) hasta Juvenil (17-18 años). En la entrega de medallas y regalos intervinieron el Excmo. Alcalde de El Puerto, D. Germán Beardo, la Concejal Dª Lola García, la Titularidad del Colegio, Mr. Randell y Mrs. Randell, el Delegado provincial de kárate-do, D. Felicísimo Diez y el Director del Club Deportivo organizador, D. José Ignacio González. Agradecemos a nuestro profesor de kárate, D Francisco Mateos, su buena labor realizada.

On Sunday we celebrated the XXXIII edition of the Karate-do Championship organised by the ECI SPORTS CLUB, in the Kata and Kumite (combat) modalities. The Jerez, San Fernando, San José Del Valle, Prado del Rey and El Puerto clubs participated his year. The nearly 200 participants were divided into the various categories, from promotion (4-5-year olds) to Juvenile (17-18 year olds). D. German Beardo, El Puerto Mayor, Mrs. Loyola Garcia, council member, and the School Heads Mr Randell and Mrs Randell, regional Karate-do Delegate, Mr. Felicisimo Diez and the Director of the organising Sports Club Mr. Ignacio Gonzalez all took part in awarding medals and gifts. We would like to thank our karate teacher Mr. Francisco Mateos for such hard work.
All participants had a great time!
