Our pupils on the ECI Global Challenge are nearing the end of their experience in Wales. Since their families visited them they have back at St Michael’s and enjoying the time with their new friends at school although there were a couple of “snow days” at home too. Pupils have been working hard towards the ECI Global Challenge bronze award, learning new skills, planning community events and working together in the community. Some of the other highlights from the last few weeks include riding on a steam train in the Welsh valleys, the ECI GC Walking Challenge, visiting a science park, preparing and having a party at Ael y Brn for their Welsh friends and representing St. Michael’s at football.
We are extremely proud of the pupil who have taken part and their attitude throughout the programme. Their language has really improved but most importantly they have overcome challenges, grown as people and had an amazing time.
