Durante estos días los alumnos de 4º de ESO han representado en clase de Ciencias Sociales algunas escenas de la obra de teatro «Mariana Pineda» del conocido autor de la Generación del 27, Federico García Lorca.
La representación ha sido el punto y final a varias sesiones donde los alumnos han investigado sobre el papel de Mariana, granadina que murió por sus ideas liberales a comienzos del siglo XIX, y también sobre la figura del autor de la obra, que acabaría siendo ejecutado por su forma de pensar un siglo después.
Con este proyecto, los alumnos han podido conocer más sobre la forma de vida en la España principios del XIX y del XX, han entendido lo difícil que era pensar diferente a lo establecido, han rememorado la figura de esta mártir de la causa liberal en la Historia de España, y por supuesto, han representado la obra de un hito de nuestra literatura como es Lorca.
During these days, Secondary year 4 pupils have performed, in Social Sciences class, some scenes from the “Mariana Pineda” play of the well 27 Generation author, Federico Garcia Lorca.
The performance has been the finale of various sessions where pupils have been investigating regarding Mariana’s role, born in Granada and died due to her liberal ideas at the beginning of the 19th Century. They also learned about the author, who would eventually be executed for his thoughts over a century later.
With this project, pupils were able to learn more about the way of life in Spain between the 19th and the 20th Century, they have understood how difficult it was to think differently to the established, the commemorated the life of this martyr for the liberal cause in the History of Spain, and of course, performed the works of a milestone of our literature such as Lorca.
