This week’s cooking workshop has been a sensorial experiment: the crumbliness of cakes, the creaminess of cheese and the smoothness of chocolate have produced a real «hands-on» experience. The department has been full of delicious aromas as children have created little balls of cake and rolled them in chocolate to make «cake pops». It has been interesting to see how the children have been able to interpret and follow a series of tasks in English to make a final product. It is wonderful to see their satisfaction at being able to make and try their own creations.
