La primera parte de nuestro intercambio con Olchfa está llegando a su fin y ha sido fantástico poder ver el progreso que nuestros alumnos han hecho con su español. Para nosotros es aún más importante ver las amistades que han hecho y las experiencias que han tenido. Ayer pasaron el día en el Colegio y la tarde en Cádiz y hoy fueron al Ayuntamiento para conocer al alcalde de El Puerto, disfrutaron de algunas actividades y clases en el colegio y acabaron el día con los alumnos jugando a paddle y montando a caballo. Esta tarde todos los alumnos y sus familias cenarán juntos y mañana nuestros amigos galeses irán al mercado y después darán una clase de flamenco. Terminamos con un poco de tiempo en familia antes de que nuestros amigos de Olchfa vuelvan a Gales.
¡Ya estamos deseando ver la otra cara del intercambio en marzo!
The Spanish part of our exchange with Olchfa is coming to a close and it has been fantastic to witness the progress that pupils have made with their Spanish. Perhaps even more importantly it has been great to see the friendships they have made and the experiences they have had. Yesterday there was a day in school and the afternoon in Cádiz and today we went to the town hall to meet the mayor of El Puerto, enjoyed some activities and classes in school and finished up with the pupils trying paddle tennis and horse riding. This evening all of the pupils and their families will have dinner together and then tomorrow our Welsh friends are off to the market and then they have a flamenco class in the afternoon. We finish with some family time before our friends from Olchfa head back to Wales.
We are already looking forward to the return leg of the exchange at the end of March.
