Ha tenido lugar la reunión de padres de alumnos de 5 años que el próximo curso suben a 1º de Primaria, con el estrés que eso supone y el cambio que conlleva. Ms. Vincent explicó como EY los dejaba a las puertas de Primaria e hizo una recensión sobre lo llevado a cabo en estos años, Ms. Rodríguez explicó la labor que lleva a cabo el Departamento de Orientación y hablo sobre el test de conocimientos básicos que los alumnos hacen, a la vez que matizó los posibles resultados para no crear alarmas innecesarias. D. Fernando presentó Primaria, hablo de los nuevos horarios, de ciertos cambios que se producen respecto a infantil, a como se celebran los cumpleaños, las asignaturas, los tutores etc. Finalmente los padres tuvieron ocasión de preguntar y aclarar las dudas.
The parents of the 5 year olds who will be going up to Primary year 1 next September with all the stress and change this entails, attend an informative meeting. Ms. Vincent explained how EY takes them up to the doors of Primary and reviewed all the achievements, Ms. Rodriguez explained the role of the Guidance Department and spoke about the basic knowledge test pupils will be taking and the possible results in order to avoid unnecessary worry. D. Fernando presented Primary, spoke about the new timetables, certain changes comparing to Early Years, how birthdays are celebrated, the subjects, tutors etc. finally, parents had the chance to ask questions and solve any doubts.
