Apenas puedo describir cuán emocionante fue volver al colegio donde aprendí a trabajar y a desarrollar habilidades para construir mi futuro junto a los profesores que me enseñaron. Una experiencia realmente beneficiosa.
Trabajar en Sierra Nevada este año es realmente inolvidable, ya que pude seguir aprendiendo de mis profesores, aunque esta vez en un ambiente laboral. Afortunadamente, ya trabajé con niños anteriormente, pero con esta nueva experiencia aprendí nuevas maneras de reaccionar ante situaciones varias y así desarrollar nuevas habilidades.
Todo tiene sus pros y contras, y trabajar con niños puede ser duro a veces. Sin embargo, ver la expresión en sus caras vale la pena, la felicidad tras el trabajo duro, y llegar a los almuerzos, llenos de entusiasmo, contándome todas sus experiencias. Este es el momento más memorable. Fue un placer y procuré que los alumnos tuviesen la mejor experiencia posible, tal y como me pasó a mí a su edad en el colegio.
Espero que gracias al trabajo invertido y la realización, los alumnos puedan verme como un modelo a seguir en el futuro. Yo estuve en su lugar y viví las mismas experiencias. Espero que mi aportación fuese útil para los profesores que también me impartieron clases a su edad.
De nuevo, gracias a El Centro Inglés por ayudarme continuamente a seguir creciendo personal y profesionalmente, aun sin ser un alumno actual. He recibido conocimientos y adquirido habilidades y espero un resultado positivo por todo el trabajo invertido en esta excursión.
LIFELONG LOVE OF LEARNING
I can’t describe how exciting it was to come back to the school in which I grew up to work and develop career building skills with the teachers who taught me. It was a very beneficial experience.
Working in Sierra Nevada this year has been unforgettable as I was able to keep learning from my teachers but in this case in the work environment. Fortunately I have worked with children before, but with this new experience I learnt different ways react in various situations and develop new skills.
Everything comes with pros and cons, and sometimes it can become hard to deal with the children. However, at the end of the day it was worth the effort to see the expressions on their faces and how happy they were from our hard work and when they arrived at lunch time full of enthusiasm telling me in of all their experiences. This was the most memorable moment. It was a pleasure and I tried my best to make sure the pupils had the best experience as I did when I was their age in school.
I hope from the work I put in and the fulfilment I gave to children they will look at me as a role model for the future. I was in their shoes and experienced the same thing. I hope my contribution was useful to the teacher’s I had at their age.
Thank you once again English Centre for continuously helping me to grow personally and professionally even without being a pupil anymore. I have gained skills and knowledge and look for a positive outcome from all the work I put in on this excursion.
