Un año más se ha convertido en una experiencia muy gratificante no solo para nuestros niños sino también para los padres que vinieron muy preparados e ilusionados.

Aquí tenéis una relación de algunas ventajas de leerles cuentos a vuestros hijos:
- Estimulan la imaginación. Los niños aprenden mucho con los cuentos infantiles gracias a la fantasía y magia que despiertan.
- Estimulan el lenguaje. Añadirán palabras a su vocabulario y aprenderán diferentes expresiones. Recordarán frases clave tales como ‘para verte mejor’ o ‘para comerte mejor’.
- Los lazos serán más fuertes. La conexión que vincula a un padre con su hijo será mucho más fuerte gracias a estos cuentos infantiles, pues habrán pasado juntos el final del día, habrán reído con los mismos chistes y se habrán sorprendido con los mismos acontecimientos.
- Se prepararán para las dificultades de la vida. Los cuentos infantiles demuestran a pequeños y grandes que la vida no es tan sencilla como nos gustaría, y que siempre van a presentarse acontecimientos que no son de nuestro agrado. Estas breves historias llenas de animales y personajes ficticios nos demuestran que está en nuestras manos luchar contra estos sucesos.
- Aprenderán el valor de ser buenos. En los cuentos infantiles siempre hay buenos y malos, y los buenos siempre ganan mientras que los malos siempre pierden. Los pequeños llegarán a esta conclusión.
- Aprenderán diferentes moralejas. No hay que hablar con extraños ni comer los alimentos de los demás, por ejemplo. Los niños serán conscientes de las diferentes moralejas que este tipo de cuentos pueden enseñar. Siempre es útil que los padres pregunten a sus hijos qué han aprendido con cada cuento.
- Pasión por la lectura. Leer es muy importante para formarse y aprender algo nuevo cada día y, ¿qué mejor manera de adquirir esta costumbre que leyendo desde pequeños?
We would like to thank all the families for their collaboration visiting our classes to share a while with us and telling a story to the Early Years pupils.
This has become, one more year, a very rewarding experience, not only for our pupils but also for the parents who came, very well prepared and excited.
Thank you for your collaboration! Here is a list of some of the advantages of reading stories to children:
1. Stimulate imagination: Children learn a lot from stories through the fantasy and magic they arouse.
2. Stimulate language. They add words to their vocabulary and will learn different expressions. They will remember phrases such as “all the better to see you with” or “all the better to eat you with”.
3. Stronger bonding. The connection linking parents and children will become stronger through these stories, ending each day together, laughing with the same jokes and surprised by the same events.
- They prepare themselves for life’s difficulties. These stories show children and adults that life is not as easy as we would like, and that things that we do not like sometimes happen. These short stories full of animals and fiction characters show us that it is in our hands to fight against these events.
- They will learn the value of being good. In these stories there are always good ones and bad ones, the good ones always win while the bad ones always loose. The children will come to this conclusion.
- They will learn morals. For example, never talk to strangers or take food from them. Children will be conscious of the various moral lessons these stories carry. It is always useful parents ask their children about what they have learned with each story.
- Passion for Reading. Reading is very important for learning and to learn something new every day, and, what better way of acquiring a good Reading habit from an early age?
