Marvellous fun and a great learning tool. Maravillosa diversión y una gran herramienta de aprendizaje.
Los alumnos de 1º de EPO están trabajando con las beebots como parte de su programa de actividades. Las beebots son “abejas” programables diseñadas para mostrar a los alumnos sus primeros algoritmos a la vez que los ayudan con la direccionalidad y la orientación espacial. Los alumnos trabajan juntos para averiguar la ruta correcta hacia un lugar determinado en la alfombrilla. No solo desarrollan mayor habilidad de aprendizaje, también aprenden a trazar un plan de acción, visualizan y toman decisiones mientras se divierten.
Year 1s were working with the beebots as part of their activity programme. These are programmable ¨Bees¨ that are designed to introduce pupils to algorythms and help them with their directions and spatial awareness. The children work together to work out the correct route to a place on the mat. Not only do they develop higher learning skills, planning ahead, visualisation and decision making but it’s great fun too.
