Our Biodiversity Group continues to offer pupils valuable opportunities to connect with the natural world and deepen their understanding of local ecosystems.
Each week, pupils take part in nature walks outside of school on Monday lunchtimes and attend group meetings on Tuesday first break, where they explore topics related to biodiversity, conservation, and the environment around us.
During yesterday’s nature walk, pupils had the chance to observe a variety of fascinating species, including a scorpion, a locust, and an Iberian worm lizard. Experiences like these help bring learning to life and encourage curiosity about the natural world.
Through the group, pupils are developing their understanding of biodiversity while building awareness of the importance of protecting and valuing the environment.
