We were delighted to welcome back Fabio Fernández Ruiz (ECI Alumni) alongside a team of aerospace engineering students from the University of Cádiz (UCA) and AIR for an inspiring visit focused on the future of engineering.
Throughout the day, students from Lower Sixth, Upper Sixth ICT, and the Engineering Club took part in engaging sessions exploring real-world applications of aerospace engineering. The team shared valuable insights into design, innovation, and career pathways, helping students connect their current learning with future opportunities in STEAM.
The visit also provided students with the opportunity to engage directly with university-level engineers, gaining a clearer understanding of progression into higher education and careers in engineering.
Students responded very positively, showing strong engagement and curiosity throughout the sessions. The team’s expertise and practical examples offered a motivating and inspiring experience for all involved.
We look forward to continuing to build this relationship and exploring potential opportunities for future collaboration that will further enrich our STEAM provision.
