1º EPO visitó el zoo botánico de Jerez ayer como parte del International Curriculum. Alumnos y personal disfrutaron de una jornada donde aprendieron más sobre animales y plantas. Es muy importante que nuestros alumnos conozcan su entorno natural y así se preocupen por protegerlo, hoy y mañana.
A continuación, os dejamos algunos de los comentarios que los alumnos expresaron en su clase de inglés sobre la visita…
Genial, perfecto, emocionante, súper, feliz,
(Viendo nadar a la nutria) – Me encantó cuando la nutria nadó hasta el cristal y después hacia atrás.
El lobo buscaba comida.
Me gustó el hipopótamo porque su cabeza era enorme.
Me gustó cuando el avestruz escondió su cabeza.
Los lémures eran graciosos porque parecía que hacían yoga.
El panda rojo era tan lindo.
El búho tenía ojos de color naranja.
El buitre tenía huesos en su jaula.
En pie como los flamencos
Mirar el mapa para ver dónde estábamos.
Mirar a través de nuestros prismáticos.
El viaje en tren fue muy divertido.
El helado era dulce y fresco.
El león estaba durmiendo.
Hicimos muchas fotos.
Los loros eran tan coloridos.
Los murciélagos estaban comiendo manzanas.
Los primates bebés eran muy lindos.
Las jirafas tienen pestañas muy largas.
Los pavos reales eran tan ruidosos que los copiábamos.
Los suricatos jugaban en sus túneles y se ponían en pie sobre las rocas.
Algunos monos posaban para las fotos.
Year 1 enjoyed their visit to Jerez zoo. The peacocks were displaying their beautiful feathers and the red panda popped out to say «Hello». We saw sunbathing, ring-tailed lemurs and hundreds of bats enjoying their fruit snack. We were so quiet that we saw two Iberian lynxes. The meerkats kept us entertained, as they popped out to look at us. One of our most memorable animals was the otter who did lots of back flips- we think he was trained by Mr Danskin! We had a picnic lunch and cooled down with an ice lolly.
We have learned so much about the countries where the animals can be found and their habits, such as, whether they are carnivores, herbivores or omnivores. We love outdoor learning!

 The peacocks were so noisy we copied them
 The meerkats were playing in their tunnels and they stood on the rocks
