Los alumnos de 6º de EPO han tenido la oportunidad de conocer la Biblioteca Municipal de Jerez, biblioteca que contiene unos fondos muy antiguos y valiosos. Los alumnos, además de realizar el recorrido por sus distintas dependencias (audiovisuales, biblioteca infantil, sala de investigadores), han sido testigos de cómo se restauran antiguos ejemplares atacados por insectos comedores de papel “pececillos de plata”. También pudieron ver una antigua edición muy reducida (12 cm) de El Quijote.
Year 6 of Primary pupils had the opportunity to visit the Local Jerez Library, which contains very old and valuable collections. Pupils, a part from visiting all the different parts of the library (audio-visuals, Early Years library, investigators area), were also able to see first-hand how they restored a book that suffered the attack of paper eating insects “Silver fish”. They were also able to see a reduced (12cm) ancient edition of El Quijote.
