ECI Racing proudly represented the school at the STEM Racing National Finals in Madrid. Our team, made up of Year 8 and Lower Sixth students, competed against teams from across Spain and took part in scrutineering, presentations, portfolio assessments and qualifying races.
The team achieved a perfect scrutineering score of 155/155 and received encouraging feedback from judges, who praised the students’ confidence and recognised the potential of such a young team.
Although the team did not reach the podium this year, the experience was a huge success. Students gained valuable engineering experience, made new friends and enjoyed the many activities available at the Sports Summit.
Special recognition goes to Carlota Cardona, who received praise from the organisers and was considered for the Female Competitor Award.
Congratulations to all our students for representing ECI with enthusiasm and pride. We look forward to building on this experience in future competitions.
