From Test Track to Press Stage – Innovation in Action
Students from the Engineering Club represented the school at two key STEM Racing events in Andalucía: the Test Day at Polo Digital Málaga and the Press Conference at the University of Cádiz (Jerez Campus).
At the Test Day, both teams — South Vortex (Pro Category) and ECI Racing (Entry Category) — tested and refined their race cars in a professional environment. Students worked with real performance data, received expert feedback, and made improvements to their designs. The experience also provided valuable insight into engineering, product development, and teamwork, reflecting real-world industry practices.
The teams were represented by:

🔵 ECI Racing (Entry Category):
Álvaro González, Francisco Javier Romero, Marco Guascone, Javier Copano, Alex Infante Osuna, Luis Buraya, Luis Sartorius
Following this, the South Vortex team was selected to attend the official press conference, where they presented their project and showcased their work to other teams, institutions, and media. Impressively, ECI was one of only three schools selected to present, highlighting the strength and ambition of our Engineering Club.
These experiences go beyond the classroom, helping students develop confidence, communication skills, and a deeper understanding of STEM careers.
Looking ahead, both teams will continue their journey at the Regional Finals, representing ECI with professionalism, ambition, and a commitment to excellence.
