On Saturday, pupils from our ECI Biodiversity Community took part in a fantastic Nature Walk in the local area, exploring and recording the wildlife around us.
During the walk, students searched for and logged a wide range of species, contributing to our growing record of local biodiversity. Among the many discoveries were Moorish geckos, ray eggs, and even a rare species known as Bedriaga’s Skink. Alongside these exciting finds, students identified hundreds of different species of animals, plants and other living things throughout the day.
It was a brilliant opportunity for pupils to develop their observation skills, learn more about the natural world around them, and contribute to real biodiversity recording. Well done to everyone who took part for their enthusiasm and curiosity!
