Celebrando el Día de Andalucía con Nuestros Abuelos
Es maravilloso compartir momentos con la familia, pero es aún más especial cuando esos momentos los vivimos junto a nuestros abuelos. Son personas fundamentales en el crecimiento y aprendizaje de nuestros alumnos, y hoy hemos tenido el enorme placer de contar con su presencia para celebrar juntos el Día de Andalucía.
La jornada ha transcurrido de forma fantástica. Comenzamos en el aula, donde nuestros abuelos pudieron participar en varias actividades que habíamos preparado con mucha ilusión: canciones, bailes e incluso alguna dinámica interactiva con la pizarra digital. Los alumnos disfrutaron compartiendo su día a día con ellos y enseñándoles muchas de las cosas que hacen en clase.
Después, todos juntos disfrutamos de un delicioso desayuno andaluz, con pan, aceite, churros y otros sabores tradicionales que nos encantan.
Para cerrar la celebración, los alumnos de Primaria dieron la bienvenida a los abuelos en el hall del colegio. El coro y la orquesta interpretaron el Himno de Andalucía, y toda la comunidad educativa se unió para cantar algunas canciones populares andaluzas, creando un ambiente lleno de emoción y orgullo por nuestras raíces.
Gracias, abuelos, por acompañarnos, por cuidarnos tanto y por ser una parte tan importante de nuestras vidas.

Andalusia Day: Grandparents’ Breakfast in Early Years and Year 1
The Early Years Department was delighted to welcome grandparents for a very special visit this week. Classrooms were filled with smiles as our young learners proudly shared their learning through English. From action games and songs to dances and presentations, the children enjoyed guiding their grandparents through their daily routine at school, all the way from PreNursery to Year 1. They were so proud to show what they’ve achieved already!
During our special Andalusian breakfast, grandparents shared stories and experiences with each other over toast and churros, coffee and hot chocolate. We remembered that we have come together from many places to celebrate our roots as a school and area.
Our final stop was the Main Hall to see the wonderful choir and orchestra, as well as some very talented Junior and Senior school students perform poetry, music and song following a long Andalusian tradition. It was a heartwarming morning that highlighted the joy of learning across generations and strengthens our vibrant school community.
