Hoy hemos tenido una reunión del School Council en la biblioteca. Mr. De la Riva explicó a los alumnos la importancia de la Constitución para defender la democracia y la libertad. Le siguió Ms. Navallas, quien habló a los alumnos sobre el proyecto Peaceful Learning Environment y el importante papel que el School Council jugará a la hora de ayudarnos a crear un espacio ideal para el aprendizaje en nuestro Centro. Nuestros delegados serán los responsables de controlar el ruido y el comportamiento de sus compañeros en la clase y darán parte a sus tutores. Este proyecto solo funcionará si todos trabajamos juntos y, para ello, nuestros delegados son un nexo vital con los alumnos, ya que han sido democráticamente elegidos por sus compañeros de clase para representarlos.
Today there was a School Council Meeting in the library. Mr de la Riva spoke to the pupils about the importance of a constitution to defend democracy and freedom. After that Ms Navallas spoke to the pupils about our Peaceful Learning Environment project and the vital role that the School Council will play in helping us to create a space that is ideal for learning in our school. Our prefects will be responsible for monitoring the noise and behaviour of pupils in the classroom and will report to their tutor. This project will only work if we all do it together and our prefects are a vital link with the pupils as they were democratically elected by their classmates to represent them.
