En la mañana del sábado 22, nuestra Alumna Coral Funes y D. Gonzalo, representando al colegio y al Aula de Sostenibilidad, han participado como ponentes en un evento a nivel mundial denominado Earth Action Hub.
La intervención, enmarcada en una sección sobre el papel de la juventud en las acciones globales por el Medio Ambiente, nos ha permitido mostrar al mundo lo que nuestro centro viene realizando en materia de Medio Ambiente en los últimos años y, según los organizadores, ha sido dinámica, interesante e inspiradora.
Más de 1600 personas de los 5 continentes han visualizado la intervención y han interactuado con ellos mediante el chat, haciendo preguntas e interesándose por algunos de los programas desarrollados por el Aula de Sostenibilidad de El Centro Inglés. Algún participante, incluso, ha solicitado desde Malta una reunión con Coral para realizar una entrevista personal.
En definitiva, ha resultado una magnífica posibilidad para dar visibilidad a este precioso proyecto que es el Aula de Sostenibilidad y nuestro centro.
On the morning of Saturday 22nd, our pupil Coral Funes and D. Gonzalo, representing the School and the Sustainability Class, have participated as speakers in a worldwide event called Earth Action Hub.
The
intervention, framed in a section on the role of youth in global actions for the Environment, has allowed us to show the world what our School has been doing in terms of the Environment in recent years and, according to the organizers, has been dynamic, interesting and inspiring.
More than 1600 people from the 5 continents have visualized the intervention and have interacted with them through chat, asking questions and becoming interested in some of the programs developed by The English Centre Sustainability Class. Some participants from Malta have even requested a meeting with Coral to conduct a personal interview. In short, it has been a magnificent possibility to give visibility to this beautiful project that is the Sustainability Class and our School.
